About Corey Duhon

Corey Duhon is Founding Partner of DUWEST. Duhon began his real estate career at Shafer Property Company, where he advanced from intern to President of Leasing and ultimately became an operating partner in multiple shopping centers. During his time there, he worked across the full lifecycle of retail real estate, including property management, leasing, and development, contributing to more than 30 ground up projects. After more than a decade at Shafer, Duhon founded Duwest Realty, now DUWEST. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than 1,600 transactions and continues to focus on project leasing and strategies that enhance and protect asset value. He also developed DUWEST’s “Lead to Lease” program, which is actively used across the firm’s portfolio. Duhon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is a member of ICSC and serves on the Board of the Folsom Real Estate Institute at Southern Methodist University.
