About Sam Phillips

Sam specializes in landlord representation. He works on a variety of retail projects ranging from shopping center leasing, second-generation restaurant spaces, pre-leasing ground-up developments, pad sites, and single-tenant buildings. He represents a range of ownership groups, including Victory Group, Centric Capital, Fritz Duda Company, and Haggard Property Group, and works closely with property owners to source and prospect tenants. Sam believes in clear communication and building strong relationships with his clients. Sam joined DUWEST through its merger with DBA Real Estate, where he spent over three years leasing retail properties throughout North Texas. During that time, he represented a variety of landlords and worked with local, regional, and national tenants across multiple retail formats. Prior to his career in brokerage, Sam interned with ABB and MD Engineering, gaining experience in HVAC system design and supply chain operations. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Texas Tech University. A Plano, Texas native, Sam enjoys staying active, following sports, and spending time with family and friends.
